Eww... 2020 Playlist

Throughout the course of 2020, I found myself struck by the lyrics or titles to a variety of songs seeming to fit in perfectly to this dystopian 2020 reality.

I thought, why not collect them, and share with you this irreverent, tongue-in-cheek playlist.

No Particular Place To Go - Chuck Berry (I've often thought of this song when I left the house just to take a drive in my car)

Dust in the Wind - Kansas (wear a mask to protect against particles in the wind!)

Glory - Common, John Legend (we have a long way to go... Black Lives Matter)

Everyday Is Like Sunday - The Team Party (Morrissey cover)

We Take Care of Our Own - Bruce Springsteen (Biden Campaign Anthem!)

Batches & Cookies - Lizzo, Sophia Eris (vintage Lizzo; I've adopted as a love song to the gooey cookies and comfort food I've eaten this year)

End of The World - Herman's Hermits (some days felt like this year couldn't get worse...)

Time Will Tell - Blood Orange (memorable tune from the We Are Who We Are / HBO soundtrack)

Dreams - Fleetwood Mac (any 2020 playlist needs this song & some Cran-Raz, no?)

Holding Out for a Hero - Bonnie Tyler (Reminds me of the 2020 campaign season)
